What can I access with my membership?

How do I change my membership?

As a part of The Hub Singapore community, you can access Hubportal, our membership portal and easily change your membership status to whichever suits your current needs best.

Because we know entrepreneurs need flexibility, as a part of the Impact Hub Singapore community, you can access our membership portal and change your membership status to whichever plan that best suits your current needs before the new month.  Find out more about the different types of memberships, the benefits that come with and perks you gain HERE.

How do I access the space?

All coworking members are given a card to access the space 24/7.  Connect members and visitors are asked to check in at the Host desk between 9am to 6pm. 

Are meeting rooms included in the membership?

Co-working membership include meeting room hour allowances. When you have used your meeting room hours, you can buy what you need in our membership portal.

Virtual members (we call them “Connect”) are able to book meeting rooms at the member’s rate. You are welcome to bring guests/non-members in after they have checked in at the Reception desk.

Can I buy extra hours in case I have reached my maximum number of hours?

Yes, you can purchase working hours top-ups as well as meeting room hours directly from our membership portal.

What are the opening hours of the space?

For our members, Impact Hub Singapore is open 24/7 (with their access card).

For visitors, we are open from 9am to 6pm (or later in case of events). We are closed during the weekend.

Can I invite clients into the space for meetings?

If you are an Impact Hub Singapore cowork member (Work Lite and above), of course! You can use our communal spaces or our meeting rooms which you can book online so you can have your meeting in a quiet and conducive environment.

Can I come to the cafe and work from The Hub?

At the Prinsep location, grab a cup of coffee from our Cafe, the Blue Collar Collective, to kick-start or keep your day going. If you are staying for more than 2 hours, you can purchase a day pass (8 hours) for access to our Wi-Fi and space.

At the Cuppage location, we have an automatic coffee machine and free diy coffee and tea in the communal kitchen. If you are intending to work at our Cuppage location, you can purchase a day pass (8 hours) for access to our Wi-Fi and space.

What is your internet like?

Our network includes dual internet providers operating on an n+1 redundancy including dual MikroTik Routers and switches. The network is backed up by a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) to ensure consistent uptime. The wireless access points are a mix between dual band 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz devices delivering to every corner of our new space.

We also ensure that no single devices or teams can monopolize access and implement full service monitoring and capacity management. All our team rooms are also equipped with data points for 'wired' access if needed.

Where can I have my Skype calls?

We have Skype booths for you to conduct your Skype calls in private in both of location. You do not need to book them.  You can also make your calls at our communal areas like our Cafe or our Kitchen lounge.

Are there any quiet areas for working?

Yes! Impact Hub Singapore has different areas for your different working needs. We have both vibrant areas (i.e. coffee with background music, communal kitchen, etc.) and quiet ones for you to chose. Private meeting rooms are also available when you need to meet clients or be alone to focus.

Can I store my belongings at The Hub?

Co-working members practice "hot-desking” by simply bringing in whatever they need for the day and bringing them home when they leave. Team room and permanent desk membership have storage included.

Members must ensure their personal belongings are kept in their designated storage unit and not left in communal areas of Impact Hub Singapore when not in use. If you do need storage, lockers are available for rental. Please email hub@thehub.sg to learn more.

Can I have my mail sent to The Hub?

An Impact Hub Singapore mailing address is included in all our co-working memberships (Work Lite and above) for use as your registered business mailing address. For other memberships, the mailing service is available for purchase by contacting hub@thehub.sg.

Can I have a fixed phone number at The Hub?

In the era of cloud-based solutions, we have opted for an alternative solution and you can get your local phone number with a cloud based phone service - Hoiio! New Hubbers get subscription perks with them. Check out their services here.

What’s special about the space and the furniture?

The entire environment has been designed to foster collaboration and creativity while ensuring comfort even after long hours of work. For instance, we use Haworth furniture like the Zody chairs, which has unsurpassed comfortability as demonstrated here.

What are the parking options near Impact Hub Singapore?

At Prinsep,

  • There are a number of paid parking within the vicinity such as Burlington Square, Sim Lim Square, Lasalle College of the Arts etc.
  • Season parking is available at Lasalle College of the Arts for around $200/month. Look for more information here.

At Cuppage,

  • There are a number of parking options within Somerset and Orchard such as Centrepoint, 313 Somerset, Starhub Centre etc.
Season parking is available at Concorde Hotel & Shopping Centre at around $180/month (Call 67349655 for more information). Orchard Central also has season parking at around $250/month.

COMMUNITY

How do you help members connect with each other?

As an Impact Hub Singapore member you have access to our MEMBERSHIP PORTAL which lists the profiles and expertise of all our members. Use it to find whoever you wish to connect or work with. We also have:

  • Dedicated resources- a community team - to act as a sounding board and help you connect with who you need to
  • Members’ only community and networking events
  • Serendipity! Serendipity can be found anywhere, especially in places you least expect, so if you haven’t already, come grab a beer with us every Friday at 5:00 pm to connect with fellow minds for our Hub Happy Hour, with free flow of beers sponsored by Braintree.

How do you communicate with your members?

We communicate with our members in person as well as online through our membership portal and members-only Facebook groups. Members receive both the events and community newsletter once a month to give them an overview of what they can leverage on in the upcoming months.

How do you choose your community events?

We have a firm pulse on the key needs of our members through daily communication and we keep up to date with trends. The monthly community events vote is where our members can tell us what they want to see. This is why we always have spot on community events!

Do you have partnerships with other coworking communities in the region?

A definite yes! What if there was a global community that can support you when you travel for business? A movement of locally rooted communities and spaces collaborating across cities, cultures and industries? This movement exists and you are part of it. Can a non-Hub member book the space for events?

We are the event space for out-of-the-box entrepreneurs, creatives, techies and impact focused individuals or organisations. We welcome bookings from our members, the public, corporate clients and individuals. Impact Hub Singapore members enjoy discounted booking rates.

Do you run networking events?

All of the time! Check out our events page to see what is happening. We organize member exclusive networking events like Speed Dating and others in partnership with external networks like Drink Entrepreneurs, BNI’s network meetings, etc. These are great opportunities to meet members, strengthen your relationship with the community, and develop opportunities for your venture.

Which events can help me increase my professional skills?
